Description: Bissamcuttack, East Jeypore, Orissa, India, 16/04/1980. Acording to Dr. Lis Madsen the Indian lifestyle has many values – for us to learn from. So she lives as 'an Indian'. With her stick, she walks from village to village, attending the sick, and preventing disease. Within a year, she is able to cover all places of her 'District'. The villagers have named her Dr. Ma, and count her as one of their own.
