Description
Photograph shows Mr. and Mrs. Crumbaugh and their daughter, Mattie Douglas, in front of Crumbaugh home in Red Bluff. Written on back: "Mrs. Ellen (Elmore Ward (Mrs. Gorham Ward) was born in this house in 1885, the Elmore Family continued to live here for 4 years afterwards (they rented rooms). In 1906, four men bought Crumbaugh property, which extended from Washington St. to the alley. The house was torn down and the pharmacy and other stores were built. (Interview Mrs. Gorham) Gift of Mrs. Gorham Ward.
