Waring and Jimmy Buttler, manager of Pasadena Department of Motor Vehicles, were hosts off poolside party honoring Knabenshue, first man in United States to fly dirigible at St. Louis Exposition Oct. 25, 1904. Oldest living member of 'Early Birds,' group whose members have flown more than 25 years, Knabenshue not only celebrates 55th anniversary of his first flight this year but also 32nd wedding anniversary.'
