Description
Tom Hayden (Thomas E. Hayden), antiwar and civil rights activist, center, speaking in Capitol Park, Sacramento. (He was running for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senator against incumbent John Tunney.) Hayden later served in the California Assembly (1982-92) and Senate (1992-2000). He is a college teacher, author, and director of the Peace and Justice Resource Center in Culver City CA.
