Tiruvannamalai, South Arcot District, India. The Headmaster Mr. Devanesan (with the garland), being retired 1956 after 10 years, is sitting at the front, right below the flag pole. On his right is the new Headmaster J. Soundararajan. The whole sitting row and some of the men standing behind them are teachers. And the three women sitting at the feet of the headmasters are teachers as well. The rest are graduates of 1956, from the High School in Tiruvannamalai. (Used in: Dansk Missionsblad no. 9/1956).
