"Good Luck Irish"--That is what Sally O'Neil, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer player, who acted as the Notre Dame mascot for the thrilling game with the University of Southern California, wrote on the ball that saw victory for the Fighting Irish in a 13 to 12 score. Knute Rockne, famous Notre Dame Coach is an interested spectator of the message. Photo dated: November 2, 1929.
