Description
The woman wears a brown walking dress with very full skirts and a brown belt that fastens in front with a rosette. The dress has double sleeves: the inner sleeve is long and fitted with short, white cuffs, while the outer, hanging sleeve is fitted to the upper arm. A rosetted band wraps around the upper arm; from this band, the outer sleeve hangs long and loose. It is lined in blue and fastens only at the wrists with a brown rosette. The collar is similarly a double collar, with a wide, lower cape collar and a narrower upper collar. The woman wears long, pointed, white shoes, yellow gloves, and a green bonnet trimmed with green bows and sprays of pink flowers. "Feb" is written in pencil in the lower right.
