Description
Winery employees work with wooden crates and barrels in an open space between three winery outbuildings on the Sunny Slope ranch owned by L. J. Rose in San Gabriel, California. A woman stands in the open doorway of the building on the left. Lettering on the side of center building reads: "Stern & Rose, Registered Distillery."
Title transcribed from photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Watkins New Series stereo #4813.
