Description
Photograph of a broad walkway in Pershing Square, Los Angeles, 1930. The brick path is at center and is lined by park benches on both sides. Many people can be seen sitting on the benches, and more people are visible walking on the road. The foreground is occupied by a large paved area bordered by a low concrete wall. A statue of a World War I-era soldier can be seen at right. An inscription on the base of the statue reads "7th Cal. Inf. U.S.V.". Many large trees, several without leaves, can be seen throughout the park in the background. An American flag is visible in the background at left.
