Description: The S. S. Republic, chartered for Aimee Semple McPherson's trip to the Holy Land in November 1929. In connection with the excursion, attorney Cromwell Ormsby brought a lawsuit against her for $324,500 charging she broke an alleged contract whereby he was to manage the expedition.
