Description
A photograph of a series of three photographs put together to form a panorama of San Pedro Harbor. The photographs are by I. W. Taber and have the following captions printed underneath: "3122. Rattlesnake Island, San Pedro Harbor, The Breakwater and Dead Man's Island"; "3123. San Pedro and Rattlesnake Island." and "3124. San Pedro Lumber wharves from Rattlesnake Island." Ships and wharf can be seen in the view.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). Photographer's printed credit reads: "Taber Photo, San Francisco." Dead Man's Island is also known as Deadman's Island. Title devised by cataloger. Date approximated by cataloger based on inclusion of these titles in "Catalogue, Alaska to Mexico. Pacific Coast Scenery. Views, Albums, Transparencies, Etc.
