Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated July 25, 1956 reads "Marvin Hyman, 23, is comforted by his girl friend, Mrs. Alcia Golstab, 31, after Hyman admitted to police that he shot and killed Alexander Golstab, 30, her husband, after he broke into their apartment. Hyman, who said he had been living with Mrs. Golstab for three months, was booked on suspicion of murder." Hyman was later cleared of all charges.
