Photograph caption dated May 3, 1965 reads "Valley men look over the new, $2 million sand and gravel plant built by Consolidated Rock Products Co. in Irwindale. Bill Payson, left, of North Hollywood is Glendale District Manager for ConRock, and Anthony Cipparone of Van Nuys is the company's general sales manager. Company plans call for future construction of a similar automated sand and gravel plant in the Sun Valley area."
