Title transcribed from item. Number "47" also inscribed in image. A curator from the Malki Museum identified this scene as: a Cahuilla Indian village, ca. 1880s, in Riverside at the Big Spring Rancheria near Mount Rubidoux, Santa Ana River and Fairmont park.
