Photograph article dated October 22, 1947 partially reads, "Trial of Film Writer Lester Cole's suit seeking reinstatement in his $1350-a-week job with the MGM Studio is scheduled to open today before U.S. Judge Leon R. Yankvich, following a last-minute attempt on the part of counsel to avert what is expected to be a lengthy trial." Also pictured is Cole's attorney Robert W. Kenny (right).
