View of front of stone masonry building on side of dirt road. Shows sign, "Mountain Nook / Refreshments for Sale." Text on verso, "Mt. Drive." 1910-11 City and County Directory for Santa Barbara describes Mountain Drive as "reached by same route as La Cumbre Trail, and follows the face of the mountains at the same level for several miles, and finally terminates in the Montecito Valley."
