Photograph of the cottages at the Outside Inn in Topanga Canyon, ca.1915. Three cottages are visible, partially obscured from view by dense trees. All of the buildings are simple single-story wooden structures with peaked roofs. They are built on three levels of a hill, and a low stone retaining wall supports a path leading up to them. A fence that appears to have been made from tree branches runs along the side of the path.
