Photograph caption reads, "This wall of 20 canvases at the Temporary Contemporary is 'The Portrait of Dorian Gray' by conceptual artist Allen Ruppersberg, who reproduced in longhand word for word the Oscar Wilde novel in its entirety. This is included in the MoCA exhibition 'Allen Ruppersberg: The Secret of Life and Death' through May 26." Photograph dated February 24, 1985.
