Photograph of a bridge near the lake in Westlake Park, Los Angeles, ca.1900. The narrow wooden bridge can be seen crossing over a lily-covered portion the lake at right. The bridge has high sides made of twisted wood. The calm water of the lake reflects its surroundings at left. At right, tall trees and thick bushes surround the lake, while more trees can be seen in the background at left. The name of the park was later changed to MacArthur Park.
