Photograph caption dated June 17, 1961 reads "St. Elizabeth [sic] School of Van Nuys is the Archdiocesan CYO softball champion, an honor won recently when the team rallied for four runs to beat S. Pius V of Buena Park, 6-4, in the finals. Individually the champions, left to right, are: Front--Bill Murphy, coach; Ted Vanlanveren, Michael Dow, Bob Stahl; second row--Father Patrick F. O'Dwyer, Phil McNamara, John Stolp, Stephen Dunlap; third row--Joe Koenig, Hayden Healy, Pat Naylon, Tony Panzarino; rear row--Edward Mickool, Thad Brown, Roger Nelson, Tim Brown."
