Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on August 15, 1965 states "Members of the 1st Battalion, 184th Infrantry Regiment of the California National Guard from Sacramento and adjacent counties, were checked off by guard officers as they boarded aircraft at McClellan Air Force Base late yesterday to supplement guard units in riot torn and beleaguered sections of Los Angeles."
