Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated November 14, 1953 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carnes will mark a double event tomorrow - their 14th wedding anniversary and the opening of their new bicycle and repair shop at 8459 Foothill Blvd. Assisting in the celebration will be the Carnes' six children. The new shop will retail the leading bicycles on the market, Carnes said. Also sold in the new store will be motor scooters, motorbikes and the Autoette electric car used successfully by the handicapped. Three days have been set aside for the Carnes opening and their anniversary - Nov. 13 through the 15th from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The new location is a half block west of the old store."
