Photograph caption dated March 2, 1956 reads, "Ribbon cutting ceremonies at Robert Hall Store, 8344 Sepulveda Blvd., Van Nuys, makes even dozen stores opened simultaneously by national family clothing chain. From left, above are Milford Sussman, assistant store manager; Melvin Hurwitz, manager; Lizabeth Abbott, Miss San Fernando Valley Robert Hall Stores; M. M. Samose, regional merchandiser; Wally Lindstrom, Van Nuys Chamber of Commerce, and Clayton Dunham, Van Nuys Chamber of Commerce. Sixty prizes will be given away today and tomorrow to children accompanied by adults visiting the stores."
