Photograph caption dated January 27, 1960 reads, "Top journalism award winners of Valley College receiving trophies were, top row left to right, Bill Milton, for top news story and best news photo; Joel Schwarz, for best sport story, best editorial and also best writer of the semester; Tony Cifarelli, for best feature. The bottom row, left to right, Ken Inouye, who received the Editor's Award; Helen Aragon, for best feature photo, and Frank Kaplan, for best feature which appeared in the Scepter, extended day magazine. The awards were presented at banquet held at Rand's Roundup restaurant."
