Description
Photograph shows a small group of people including Wiggsy Sivertsen (back to camera) standing around another woman holding a sign that reads "The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23" The words are configured so that the letter A from wages, I from sin, D from death and S from Romans are in alignment vertically. Those letters are also in a different color so that the word "AIDS" is clearly visible.
Wiggsy Sivertsen co-founded BAYMEC and GALA, the Gay and Lesbian/Bisexual Student Alliance at SJSU, and helped organize the first indoor Gay Pride Day Celebration at SJSU in 1975.
