Description
Photograph caption dated May 1, 1957 reads, "Building one of booths for annual 'Levis and Lace' dance, 8 p.m. Friday at Glen-Aire Country Club, are members of North Hollywood High School Club Vagabonds, from left, Nancy Ellison, Rita Redd and Frank Mayo. Archi Rosate and band will play for dancing. Entertainment will include booths, prizes refreshments and exhibition dancing by 'Why-Not Twirlers.' Dance at $1.75 per couple is open to all teen-agers. Cotton dresses for girls, levis and cotton shirts for boys is acceptable costume."
