Photograph caption date stamped March 17, 1965 reads, "Bob Allen, left; Ollie Carter and Frank Nordyke look happy as they were honored last night at the Valley State College basketball awards dinner held on the campus. Allen received the coaches award, Carter was voted the most valuable player and Nordyke the most improved. Over 150 people attended last night's activity."
