Photograph of Sunset Club members playing cards at a cabin at Lake Arrowhead, ca.1905. Seven club members are gathered around a small wooden table at center. Three of them are seated and holding cards, while two are standing at left and one is standing at right as another man looks on from a chair behind him. The card players all have pistols, and the player at left has a large stack of chips in front of him. There is a bottle of alcohol at right. The fireplace behind the men is decorated with a variety of articles, including a pair of American flags, a woven bowl, a deer head, and a picture of a cowboy. There are also several signs, which include, from left to right, "Prepare for a long dry spell --Carpenter", "[N]ever trouble trouble till trouble troubles you", and "It is never too late to sit up". Photoprint reads: "Seated left to right: s[...]aco, L.W. Meyers, Oscare Mueller, N.P. Courey. Standing: Force Parker (cap), M. Elliot, Louis Vedder. J.E.
