Photograph caption dated September 1, 1958 reads, "North Hollywood Rotary Club boys baseball crew went to the finals of the recent citywide playground tournament, losing 4-1 to the Los Angeles Angels in the concluding game of the 13-14-year-old division. Already winter and summer league champions in Burbank, the Rotary horsehiders, from left, are: Front--Ronnie Shackleford, Ken Schutt, Ricky Mason, Al Davis, Tim Farrell and Mickey Break; Rear--Jim Smallwood, Wendall Fleming, Tom Taylor [sic] Ken Gore and Joe Hillman."
