Joseph 74, and Esther 73, Turner are residents at Ramona Gardens beginning September 11, 1945. They previously lived in Oxnard with their daughter and were not paying any rent. It was necessary for the Turners to move for medical reasons; Mr. Turner has chronic asthma. They receive $972 annually from an old age pension from the State of Illinois. They pay $17 per month rent for their apartment at Ramona Gardens Housing project. The housing project was designed by Housing Group Architects: George Adams, Walter Davis, Ralph Flewelling, Eugene Weston Jr., Louis Eugene Wilson, and Lloyd Wright.
