Title supplied by cataloger. Robert Scheffing was not only a baseball player, but he was also a coach, manager and front-office executive during his long baseball career. He led the Los Angeles Angels to the 1956 Pacific Coast League championship, and went on to become the skipper for the Chicago Cubs the following season, the Detroit Tigers two years after that, and became general manager of the Mets in early 1970. Scheffing died in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 72. Pictured is Los Angeles Angels manager, Bob Scheffing. No further information has been given. Photograph dated June 21, 1955.
