Dozens of friends and family attending Gim Fong's funeral services at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, look on as a folded American flag is presented to Mr. Fong's widow. Mr. Fong, who served in the Army, was the owner and proprietor of a 53-year-old museum-like shop, Fong's Oriental Works of Art, located on Chung King Road in China City, now known as Chinatown. Fong, a master artisan known for his delicate miniatures, passed away October 17th of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 74. Photograph dated October 25, 2005.
