Description
SERIES. David Lester Cole, the first Sacramentan killed in WWII, is held by his sister Ruby, Gertrude Lillian Cole (Collier), shortly after his birth (1919/05/28). He was a young Ensign on the U.S.S. Arizona stationed in Pearl Harbor when the ship was bombed, Dec. 7, 1941. Other photos include Cole in a stroller and taking his first steps as his mother watches.
