Description: Santa Monica Public Library Image Archives. 70-1958-2 Digital object 2701 img0030 The La Monica Ballroom, designed by T.H. Eslick, opened July 23, 1924 with a 15,000 square foot dance floor. The Ballroom was closed in July 1962 and demolished six months later.
