Description
This circa 1930 photograph captures a cresting Sacramento River, as seen from the I Street Bridge, looking north. To the right of the frame is the smoke-belching Pacific Gas and Electric power station. To the left of it, is the city filtration plant's water pump. Beyond that is the confluence of American and Sacramento Rivers.
