Photograph caption dated April 11, 1989 reads, "An injured motorist sits very, very still as Glendale rescue workers stabilize her neck after slicing the roof from her car. She had a narrow escape when a truck struck her station wagon on the Golden State Freeway near Western Avenue and the wagon skidded under the trailer of a semi, trapping her inside. But her injuries proved minor, 'Se was very lucky,' said Glendale Fire Department Battalion Chief Don Biggs. 'She had kind of slid down in the seat.'"
