The dress has a square neck with white edging, and a skirt with a ruffle-edged upper tier gathered into poufs at the back over a blue satin underskirt. The dress has a belt at the waist. She wears white gloves, a gold bracelet, gold pendant earrings, white stockings, and blue heeled shoes with rosettes.The woman next to her is seated in a red upholstered chair. The woman next to her wears a pink dress with an off the shoulder neck and short puffed sleeves. The bodice and overskirt are pale pink with a floral pattern, trimmed with dark pink satin ribbon and ruffled white scalloped lace. The skirt is draped up in back over a bustle. She has white ruffles around her neck, sleeves, and down the center front and sides of the overskirt. Her underskirt is pink with a white lace flounce above the hem. Her accessories include gloves, a gold bracelet and a gold pendant necklace. The woman on the far right wears white flowers in her hair. Her dress has an ivory jacket with bell sleeves, purple detailing, and a purple skirt. Her jacket has a floral design along the edges, and tasseled fringe along the front edges of the jacket. A large purple bow adorns her skirt. Her dress has long bell sleeves and draped back detailing of the fashionable bustled silhouette. A narrow white ruffle of her blouse is visible at the neckline and cuffs. She wears gold earrings and a gold pendant necklace, perhaps a cameo or locket.
