Republican mural, Whiterock Road, Ballymurphy, West Belfast, 1989. Mural motif taken from Paris '68; Irish Republican gagged by Britain; when gage removed talks peace. In 1988 the British Government banned British news organisations from broadcasting interviews with representatives of Republican and Loyalist groups, including the elected representatives of Sinn Féin.
