Photograph of Morris Dam and reservoir on the San Gabriel River, Pasadena, 1938. The dam can be seen in the foreground at left. The river is much higher behind the dam at right than it is at left. Tall mountains can be seen on both sides fo the river. The dam has a height of 245 feet above stream bed capacity of reservoir, 38,700 acre feet, according to the Metropolitan Water District.
