Description
Written on reverse: "Decorated window for Califene at our store. Won first prize among the retail grocery stores." Cans of Califene (a vegetable shortening made by Western Meat Company from cotton seeds) arranged in the window along with advertisements. On the outside of the window there are also ads for National Ice Cream and American Trading Stamps. In the middle of the window display is the Alfred Everitt Orr "For Home and Country" ad for Victory Libery Loans featurings a soldier with his partner and child.
