Photograph caption dated November 29, 1963 reads, "Workers seek to finish the task of building floats for the Bethlehem Star Parade to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday in Van Nuys. Floats are being constructed in the big tent at Van Nuys Boulevard and Saticoy Street. The parade will go down Van Nuys Boulevard from Sherman Way to Oxnard Street, officials said. More than 1,000 persons are building the elaborate Christmas floats."
