Description
Image of people standing on the beach at the edge of Lake Elsinore in Riverside County preparing to watch a speed boat race at the Yacht Club, with motor boats near a dock in the water and automobiles on the beach. A sign for "Lake Elsinore Yacht Club" sits on top of an outdoor pavilion on the beach and some of the names on the sides of the boats read "Sunkist kid," and "Sweetheart."
Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on the history of Lake Elsinore which hosted high speed boat races in the 1920s and went dry by the 1930s.
