Postcard, photo -Black and white: Jonive District School built in 1883. One room clapboard building. Background: Sonoma County had five 'rancho' schools in 1852 which were Jonive, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Bodega and Mark West. Jonive School was built on property belonging to Jasper O'Farrell on part of what had been the Canada de Jonive land grant.
