Description
Photograph of a view of Colorado Boulevard looking west from Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena, ca.1910. Horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians navigate the streets and sidewalks respectively, while a streetcar tries to get through in the distance. Victorian-style high rise buildings line the street to either side, advertising with signs. Several portions of the image appear to have been touched-up with paint, or perhaps even painted completely in as new additions. The sign on the streetcar reads "Orange Grove Ave.". Other legible signs include: "Popein and Sestor Tailors", "New York [...]", "Postal Telepgraph", "Tuttle's Curio Store / G.W. Tuttle Proprietor", and "Philadelphia Shoe Co.".
