Description

Caption printed when the image was used in the Press-Telegram on August 15, 1976, reads, "Kazue Seo reminisces before Buddhist shrine about mass evacuation and imprisonment" and a quote states, "We Were Feared by the Caucasians as Much as We Feared Them." The Newspaper Photograph Collection is made up of photographs that were printed in the Long Beach Press-Telegram and Independent newspapers, between the 1950s and early 2000s.
