Description
"This is the $3 million Capitol Square parking-shopping arcade structure, in which Safeway Stores, Inc., will open a new supermarket and Super S facility Wednesday. This view looks north toward Capitol Mall, with 4th street at left, 5th at right. Safeway will occupy the north wing of the L shaped structure, using 34,250 square feet of the street level floor. Beyond Capitol Square can be seen rear views of three major Capitol Mall buildings, from left: The Crocker Citizens National Bank, the Wells Fargo Bank and the IBM buildings"
