The exhibition, "Other gods: containers of belief", is at the Municipal Art Gallery in Barnsdall Park at 4800 Hollywood Boulevard. The show ended its national tour at Barnsdall on June 21. Shown here is Carol Shaw-Sutton's sculpture titled "Our bones are made of stardust" and consists of lyrical willow "canoes" that float out of a spiral configuration. Photograph dated: May 7, 1987.
