Caption from November 25, 1974 Sacramento Bee reads "AIR FORCE RESCUE SHOW - The Air Force 41st Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron from McClellan Air Force Base demonstrated some of their techniques to the Bay Area Division of the Mountain Rescue Association, a civilian organization, during the weekend. Mock victim Airman Dennis Fisher in picture at left is aided by Airman Dean Phillips, left, and Sgt. Michael Smith who parachuted from an HC-130 Hercules into a field near Sloughhouse, and then placed him in a basket which was lifted into an HH-3E Jolly Green Giant helicopter. During the show the helicopter was refueled by the giant plane, above, and other paramedics parachuted in with a supply of medical items."
