Written on back: "White lines mark the location of the new BANK OF CALIFORNIA Head Office, to be constructed on California Street, bounded by Halleck, Leidesdorff Streets and by the present Head Office on east. The new building will be located in the area presently occupied by, from left to right, the U. S. Fidelity and Guaranty building, the General Steamship building and the bank's Annex. Present Head Office will remain as Main downtown banking office.
