Photograph caption dated October 13, 1957 reads, "Field opens - Boeing P-12 pursuits and Keystone bombers wing over Lockheed Air Terminal as part of three-day opening ceremony on May 30, 1930. First named United Airport, field became Union Air Terminal in 1934 and Lockheed Air Terminal in 1941."
